“Arrived late, left early. Smooth process.”

“The staff was very kind and helpful attorney questions that we had. The grab and go breakfast was anything but that. Each morning the breakfast was so good that it had us going back for more. The breakfast had a wide variety of items to choose from. We would absolutely stay there again.”

“The young woman that was working at the front desk the night we checked in was excellent. Friendly and good at her job. We got to our room and there weren't any pillows on the bed. I went back to the office and this same woman apologized and got us some pillows. The room wasn't dirty but there were some spots that could have been cleaned better. “This property was wonderful and clean. We had two teenage boys who love fishing and we were able to leave them go on their own fishing on the free kayaks offered. The cabins are very quaint and clean. We were able to spend time on the deck and enjoy the quiet time of the outdoors. Restaurant on premises is very very nice and the people helpful and friendly. “The staff was very nice and helped with problems. We had no coffee cups in our room. Also no tissues and soap. The soap holder in the shower stall was upside down empty. Also the reception for the TV was very bad.”

“Simple motel without all the frills but it was clean and the owner bent over backwards to do anything we needed. Highly recommend if you are staying in the area.”

We chose this property because it was the only traditional hotel within walking distance of an event we were attending (Franklin Blues and BBQ Festival) so the rates were probably higher than normal. Our biggest complaint was the free hot breakfast. All 3 mornings were the same. Tasteless sausage patties and scrambled eggs. A handful of high carb offerings. Weak coffee and rock hard butter. The problem with Franklin is there are no restaurants "downtown"...

“The lobby area is nice, it’s like you walked into an upscale place, then when I got into my room you were now in the trenches. My bedding was dirty, along with the bathroom. I hug ad to go to the front desk and get an ice bucket and garbage bin, because they didn’t have one in the room. There were dead roaches in the hall and on our last day my daughter saw a mouse in the bathroom. There were people playing ding, dong, ditch on my door at 6 am, housekeeping was nowhere to be found, they never...

“The view of the Allegany River is breathtaking and the rooms are spacious and clean. The decor makes it feel like home rather than a hotel room. The "take and go" breakfast has a very limited selection. However, the room and the other amenities by far outweigh the limited breakfast. We will definitely stay here again!”

“My fiance and I stayed here for the night because we had a wedding to go to and I want to say this was the best place we have stayed. Staff were nice and I loved the lady that got the breakfast set up. She was bubbly and very nice. She played some music and singing. Very delightful!”
